Art has always been a part of Rose’s life. Her father was a graphic artist, painter and art store owner. In college, she majored in Communication Design, but also took fine art classes. She freelanced as a graphic designer, utilizing a variety of media ranging from photo retouching with an airbrush to digital photo and graphics. Rose joined North Penn Art where she further honed her eye for presentation, layout, and color. Framing, arranging and reproducing other artists’ work has been an inspiration, prompting a renewed interest in painting. Rose enjoys painting subjects that have a personal connection to people and places familiar in her life. With an artistic slant towards Impressionism, her goal is to capture a unique angle on ordinary subjects. “My job, as an artist, is to reflect who I am and what I see with a mixture of color, light and creativity”.
